  3. Oh YP, procrastination is the spice of life. Flagged the river today. I'm cleaning up the bloody house which has been neglected while I've been painting. just come down from a ladder chasing spiders away from the skylights.
Apple AND steak and kiddlies - and a chocolate banana cake! With passionfruit icing like Mum used to make. I love baking. But I MUST get this place a little more hygienic for the Christmas family influx...
Daughter is sanding the verandah to repaint, isn't she a marvel?

  4. Katherine, if you really want to appreciate the river, you must jump into it.

  5. The fact that it's summer over there and we're still waiting for our makes me extremely jealous, Katherine. ;) I did my cards yesterday but it wouldn't stand a chance over kayaking.

  6. I don't know how you all can live with having Christmas in the summer. You are supposed to be freezing your butts off and trudging through the snow and slush. It's just not right, I say. Not right at all.

Can I come spend Christmas with you? Please? It's bitter cold up here in Canada.
