'I'm always looking for the Hows and the Whys and the Whats,' said Muskrat, 'That is why I speak as I do. You've heard of Muskrat's Much-in-Little, of course?'
'No,' said the child. 'What is it?'

Up on the Roof

I've cleaned out the gutters and installed gutter guard over the last month.  Things are nice up there at the top of the ladder.  There's lots of sky.  And a new perspective - a new view of things below.

  2. You live in a lovely place, lucky you. The picture of the sky looks particulary nice to me today. I long to see a wide sky. And, good to get the gutters done, I'm sure.

  3. I'm in the aptly-named Bay of Plenty, Moon. Plan and ask away!

Tab, I've tried a few NZ locations before settling here. It IS lovely. Warm, too.

  4. I must say I like the new profile picture. A fine advert for NZ womanhood! Cor! But what is a young woman of 52 doing crawling about on a roof! You are not a seagull you know... that's if they have seagulls in NZ or do you only have flightless seagulls?

  5. Thank you YP. I was just up the ladder, the roof is a bit steepish.

Lovely pictures. And it is warm .. *sigh*

I just sent my OH out with the dogs in sheepskin gloves, padded jacket and woolly hat. Even the dogs have coats.

By the way, can you still get slinky gloves out there?

  7. Just think how much MORE you will enjoy summer when it does come around again, Jay. And your shoulder op will be just a memory...

Re slinky gloves - I've never come across them. Where did you get them from? Can you remember?
