What in the world IS that? I am no good at deciphering this sort of puzzle. But you're right, it is very beautiful, and wherever it is, for me it certainly will be unexpected.
I think it's the sun reflecting off the bottom of a pool with a small tile pattern on the bottom. Probably not taken today...I thought it was cold in NZ!
just as Sam does, wethinx its water (with movement/ripples/yadda-yadda) and its in some type of tiled pool.since there a straight edge on the right-side, we'd say its either a wading pool,orta-da!pooled water in a shower; which would account for boththe apparent shallowness AND the water-movement.dooze weeze gotz da prize? :-)thank you for another intrigue, Kathy....ero

Thanks for your comments everyone. It's midsummer sunshine sparkling on a fountain in the heart of Auckland city. (Just outside the art gallery of course! Where else would I go? )
