'No,' said the child. 'What is it?'

  1. Obviously it will be called 'A Blog's Eye View Of The World'... love this little witticism - proving that many a true word is spoken in jest!

  2. ...and all I could think was, "xkcd go on a walk-about... Cool!"

(and, what was the hidden text? You must share that as well!)

Warm hugs and quiches from Kitty

  3. Jinksy - Or many a true word spoken in satire.

Kitty - I pretty much just changed the last two words from 'livejournal entry' to blog post. It meant the same thing.

    All warm quiches gratefully accepted.

  4. And how true that is!! I find myself snatching photos all over the place instead of simply enjoying the moment, thinking 'this will make a great blog post!' LOL!

  5. Something you once said along those lines made me think of you when I saw this cartoon Jay. I'm glad my fiendish plan to entice you over here worked.

I've also been thinking about beauty since reading your last post. It is definitely how I see it too. Some people really *glow*. and it has little to do with physical beauty, but more to do with being and doing, and perhaps the look in the eyes and around the mouth.

  9. LOL...ok you got me! My family is getting a little tired of looking at me and seeing the business end of a camera looking back at them. But it is for my blog...so I must continue to be the woman with a camera for a face!

  10. I happened upon this post via another blog (something I very rarely do) and was just so amused. That is exactly how I view so many things that I do these days.

    I shall now read more.

  12. YP - I like to view Blogging as a means to enhance my experience of the world. Not sure where the godwit bit comes in here, 'though.

Alden - looking forward to the Pandora's Box post. Hope this is not the Notting Hill Pandora.

    Sis - it's for a Higher Cause.

    Meg - Me too.

GB. - I stand by my suggestion that viewing life as a series of post opportunities can actually enhance our pleasure. Reporting on the smell of the roses, so to speak. Glad you happened here. Welcome to TLVD!

DawnTreader - Welcome to TLVD too!
