  3. As an habitual doodler myself, I would like to think that the doodles we create - almost without thinking - have much to say about the subterranean workings of our minds. As a teacher, if I ever came across doodling students, I recognised that their doodling may sometimes have been helpful aids to thinking rather than evidence of my ability to bore!
