Easter Sunset

6.10pm tonight, from the front verandah, to the background of the cricket concerto.

  1. Wonderful. I've forgotten what a sunset looks like. I started taking night sky shots some months ago and I've hardly had a single suitable night since.

  2. Thanks Geeb. I've missed a few... I seem to get busy and then I look out the window and the show is almost over and the curtain is coming down.

  3. ah the old sunset pics - you can never tire of 'em - they're my mum's specialty. Armchair photography at its best! Loving the cricketty soundtrack - very ambient.

  4. Thanks Fox. Just a backdrop for the crickets, really. Does your Mum have a blog?

  5. Easter hasn't even started here yet, and it's already over where you are.
My mind refuses to take it in.

  6. Well, just think of it this way Robert: We have to let go the sun in order for it to come to you...

    1. What a great way of putting it Katherine. I shall be plagiarising that one!

  7. Crickets come inside my house, and when I went to take photos of my old fruit trees, I see lots of casts.
