'I'm always looking for the Hows and the Whys and the Whats,' said Muskrat, 'That is why I speak as I do. You've heard of Muskrat's Much-in-Little, of course?'
'No,' said the child. 'What is it?'

Audrey

I'm a GA!   And I've only just met my dear little great niece. She and her parents are living in Ibiza at the moment, but she and her mother were back here in New Zealand briefly two weekends ago, so we nipped down to Hawkes Bay to see them. Audrey is about 19 months old, and has only recently started to walk.  She is smart and beautiful.  In my absolutely unbiased opinion, of course.

GA Kate and Audrey.  A challenging step about to be dealt with.

A first taste of marshmallow

Intently watching Nanna Jane.  Hat hair.

I wonder what that GA looks like.  She's always hiding behind that camera.

Hellooo!
Haven't you clicked at me enough with that thing?

    1. Indeed AF. It's also true that back in more straightened pre-digital times, I feel took much better pictures more often. Because I couldn't afford not to. (Note to self: sort out and digitalise 1979 round-the-world trip slides)

  6. Ha! I just found your link to Henri the Cat - it was waiting to be moderated. Made me laugh - especially part 3, where Henri ends the clip with a quiet "Merde!"

    1. Yes! I was just watching part three too at the same time you were! I hadn't seen that one. Very cute.
And I only know what that word means through watching 'Tais tois!' ('Ruby and Quentin'.) You don't get those sort of words in French 101)

  7. What? You're a Georgia? That can't be right.

Oh, I eventually figured it out. You're a great-aunt or grand-aunt or whatever it's called.

Never heard or read the term "GA" before. Is that an Enzed thing?

Anyway, a gorgeous child and marvelous photography!
