It's not raining in my heart...

...but it is raining from Wellington to Tonga at the moment!

It's probably just a coincidence that the colour of the rain on the satellite map is almost the same colour as the wisteria on our verandah.

Lots of painting done.  Lots to show-and-tell.  See you tomorrow.

  2. Wonderful to see you're back. That certainly looks a little on the damp side but it's got a month to clear up before I return. The wisteria picture isn't this Spring's is it? I don't want them to be over before I return and they are usually in full bloom in Napier in November.

    1. Thank you Geeb. But also sorry Geeb. That is indeed the wisteria that's being deluged and blown around at this very moment. Perhaps it's earlier this year. I know it has been a very early (warm) spring for other plants.
I'll work as hard as possible over the next month to ensure the weather is as good as possible for your return.

  4. I know that other bloggers probably won't realise that you have spent the last four months in The Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility in the Wiri suburb of Manukau City. I hope it has made you finally accept that we are all responsible for our actions and you didn't have to get involved in that bank heist in Hamilton - even though you were only the getaway driver.! Why not stick to Art in future?

    1. P.S. - I have never seen lilac/lavender/wisteria on a weather map. Our colors start with green and progress through yellow, orange, and red (severe) to a deep purple for tornado. Activity. Live and learn!

    2. I like to challenge myself to give back as good as I get Robert. Thank you for your welcome back.
Re. violet cyclones, I guess I hadn't seen that colour used either. Perhaps that's why I mentioned it. It was a significant storm and we are still to clean up all the little (thankfully) debris around the garden...

    1. You may call me Kate Putz. Commiserations on the snow. Unless you happen to love it, in which case, congratulations.
