'No,' said the child. 'What is it?'

Exhibition

Well, we are nearly there.  After more than three years of preparation, research and painting:  The Godwit Series is about to be shared with the world.

If anyone of my dear blogger friends are in New Zealand in two weeks time... do call in!
Opening night is 1st August 5.30pm - 7.00pm... nibbles and drinkies.

  1. Can’t be there unfortunately.
Two big events I will miss in august in NZ: your exhibition and the relaunch of the Ngataki.
Lots of success with your exhibition.

  2. Good luck. I rarely miss the opportunity for a freeby but you are just too far away.

  7. The very best of luck with your exhibition Kate! "Build it and they will come." I can hardly imagine the many patient hours you have put into this work and you are, apart from anything else, celebrating the existence of a remarkable bird (talking about the godwit!).

  8. There aren't many places that are as far away from here as 'Cottleston', so I shall have to send my very best wishes rather than attend. Do post some pictures of the show, I'd love to see more.

  12. Thanks everyone. The opening night saw a goodly crowd of lovely people (I practiced my arty air kisses a lot) and there has been a small but perfectly satisfactory number of people calling in each day. Although it would have been nice if the Fibre Optic workmen hadn't decided on Friday to dig a plurry big hole *right* in front of my super-duper new letterbox and obscure the number completely! There is still remains, with its gay little orange fence. Rats.
