Using a piece of soft black leather to hide the rough top edge, and some yellow material to line, and a belt I will never wear, as a strap, it has become in interesting shoulder bag, and also happens to just fit my laptop! It's not perfect, but very little in this world is. I am rather pleased with it!
That's not a lazy afternoon. Procrastination is hard work.
ReplyDeleteGreat bag and a notebook fits.
Now if you could just produce a lot of these as rapidly as possible (outsource? assembly line?) and as cheaply as possible (made in Taiwan? Cambodia? Mexico?) you could make a fortune selling "Kate's Laptop Bags" online. These could be the new "must have" item on six continents. Your future is semi-assured!
ReplyDeleteYou clever thing! Not only did you make it, but you also invented the laptop case.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. Sounds like a lovely idea Robert.
ReplyDeleteCro, the only trouble is, if I went out of the country with it, I would probably not be allowed to bring it back in again, being plant material. NZ is very strict.
