Landscape - valleys

I've just done the underpainting on a new piece.  It's acrylics which I'm not very comfortable with, so we'll see how this goes...

  1. I'd be hapy with that just as it is - looks like a sea dance.

  2. A lovely foretaste of what's to come. I'll be back to see the finished painting.

  3. That alone looks pretty good from what I can see. It looks like a snowy valley in the mountains. Whay are you not feeling very comfortable with it?

  4. Thanks for your comments Jinksy and Bonnie (welcome to TLVD, Bonnie - will pop over when I have time)
Sis - Thank you for the stroke... I usually work in oils, I'm feeling my way with an unfamiliar medium.

  6. Very nice Katherine, we will all look forward to seeing the completed painting. I always thought that acrylics were the painters friend, they dry so quickly (relative to oils) and you can wash your brushes easily in water!
