Are my video clips getting pasted too high on this blog? On mine they obscure my writing. I'd hate anyone to be missing out on my pearls of wisdom. It also means to replay a vid you have to click where the '>' sign would be if they were in the correct place. I think it is this page template that's the problem.

Is it just my computer or is it the same for you?

First Frost

Last night it was clear and cold and by my indoor/outdoor thermometer it was 6ºC inside when I came into the kitchen this morning. And brrr, 0ºC on the verandah. Time to get the kitchen fire lit. When I padded out in my slippers and dressing-gown to get a basket of wood the sun had just risen and the roof was sparkly with the frost crystals. The old Magnolia stellata thinks it's spring, however. Hopefully the petals will de-frost without damage.
