Which then got me thinking how lovely it is that downunder, we can see so many stars. More of the Milky Way, because our position down here, and also more of the tinier stars because of our clear, clean (rather wind-swept) maritime skies.
Which leads me nicely into the following: a little preview of a couple of Andrew Caldwell's fantastic photographic images. He's going to be showing his work in the next exhibition here, along with a few of my little oil landscapes.
These are wonderful images. Something to aspire to.
ReplyDeleteYes Adrian. It's going to be such a pleasure to have them hung in my gallery!
DeleteBeautiful photos, it's worth double clicking them to see the enlarged images.
ReplyDeleteI'll pop a few more up as the exhibition progresses Alden. He loves to be up for the dawn!
DeleteWhy can't I take photos like that.... Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCro, he goes to a lot of trouble and also has had a lot of practice. I have been enjoying reading the little bits of blurb he submitted for each image for the catalogue. Will post some soon.
DeleteYes I can recall seeing a trail across the sky above Napier one day and people in the café (outside of course) wondering where on earth the plane was heading.
