'I'm always looking for the Hows and the Whys and the Whats,' said Muskrat, 'That is why I speak as I do. You've heard of Muskrat's Much-in-Little, of course?'
'No,' said the child. 'What is it?'

Eye Candy Day 5
A special bit of eye candy this first day of 2009. This is the rather nice Doug Kinsella who is on the cover of my new calendar. Needless to say, I only bought the calendar to help out the New Zealand Child Cancer Foundation. If you wish, you can order next year's from the firemans calendar site here.

There's that 'low' I was talking about - showing us THAT while there is still turkey left on the platter...hehe.
ReplyDeleteBut the photo has given me inspiration for 2009 and I now have a new goal - I want a fire truck !
I'm nothing if not realistic and no amount of dieting or gym work will give me a Kinsella body.
Best $10 you ever spent, I'd think.
Hello from last year! Here in England it's still 2008 of course but I wish you all the very best for 2009.
ReplyDeleteHe has feelings you know... he is not just a piece of meat ....
ReplyDeletealso, we have got some plans for 2010 to come your way ......
ReplyDeleteAh, I know Moon. He is a really nice chap (I wrote that), but I'm intrigued about the 'also'. You are coming this way - to New Zealand? AND you have a heavenly body too?
ReplyDeletePS my Eye Candy Day should just be taken with a pinch of ..er.. sugar. I am usually so overly and deeply sensitive to others' feelings, once a month I have to redress the balance. :-)
PPS Just joking in my first two sentences. Keep in touch! Maybe I can help with a personally-crafted itinerary. And by 2010, The Last Visible Dog Bed and Breakfast should be open too!
Oh dear. What IS IT about New Zealand Sheilas and muscular firemen? Jackie Collins in "Lethal Seduction" expounded on it, but I didn't really believe her until now.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR KATHERINE! I watched fireworks over Auckland much earlier today - on TV - but our last UK midnight of 2008 is still almost four hours away.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you too YP! Raises (reading) glasses.
