  4. Exactly Jinksy! You read my camera/mind.

Lakeviewer - welcome to TLVD! Thank you for your comments. I've enjoyed visiting you too! Shall do it more often. I know all about running to town... we used to live on a farm in a rural community.

    Sistex, Juliet- yes! Yum indeed!

  5. 'The last of summer.'

    I'm so sorry.

Our summer is just beginning. I work in a garden center and everyone is frantic for tomato plants, even though it's a bit early.

But when September comes and my neighbor puts the last of the crop on my back table, I could just weep. Thank God we have a few months to go before that happens....

    Found you through Pepper....

  6. Welcome to TLVD Robin! Please don't be sorry, 'cos I'm not sad! - it is such a hot summer here at times, I *love* the cooler weather. And nice to get a bit of rain today - we need it.
I love fires in the grate and being able to get on with inside chores and catch up on my reading - winters here are very mild anyway. But I see the tomatoes are all flowering again anyway! I'll have to bring the last of the fruit inside and make a batch of my world-famous-in-New Zealand Green Tomato Chutney!
