... This one's for Alden.

  1. This photo really is candy for the eye. Elizabeth, Grace, Audrey are the 3 most beautiful women that come to mind. Cary, Gregory, and Clark as a line-up for the most handsome men.

  2. Well 'snap' is all that I can say Katherin - I have posted a photo of Elizabeth Taylor on my own Blog a while back - she really was a seriously good looking lady - and glad to see you taking equity in this eye candy thing seriously :-)

  4. Ah, that's a good classical line-up there Lizzy!

Not snap Alden, I read that post of yours - that's why I dedicated this eye candy day to you! Welcome home, by the way.

    Indeed, Robert.

  5. The interesting philosphical question is - is beauty in the eye of the beholder, or is there some sort of cosmic fixed standard of beauty that we instinctively compare beauty with??

  6. Er, a big question there... I seem to recall most of my opinions on the subject come from an excellent series by John Cleese called 'The Face'. Symmetry and good health, were two biggies, I think.

  7. Mmmm..Mmmmm... Wasn't she a doll in her heyday? This is the kind of eye candy your loyal readers like. Please. No more men. It's upsetting.

  8. I agree with YP - and the truth is that none of the men you post about are as good looking as YP and me, so post about us a couple of times, well for 6 months or so AND then, only women eye candy please - what ever happened to common sense and rationality.

  9. OK then. Send the pics to me boys. 72 dpi and about 30 x 30 cm. Email address is on this blog.

  10. That's a fascinating set of comments. For me she is very attractive because of her demeanour and not just her physical attributes. There are many ladies just as physically beautiful but without that elusive presence that makes someone great.

  11. Ah! the TLVD eye candy series; reveals how difficult it is to separate out the person/acting role from the physical attributes. I try to select based on looks alone (as in; it's my blog and I'll select if I want to), but the other stuff gets in the way. And of course, there's always the reactions!

And, Thank Goodness for that, when you think about it.
