  2. Really? John Denver? I repeat: Really?

  3. 'Annies Song' - wonderful - All his songs are as clear and fresh as the mountain air - he celebrated reality rather than angst over it. I feel privileged to have him rank with me in the great hall of Eye Candy.

  4. The world lost such a talent, just think of the songs he could have written. This is an exceptional picture of him!

  5. Hadn't thought of him in years. Then I was in his adopted hometown, Aspen Co and compulsively downloaded and listened to a few of his old songs. He was good alright. And given the shift in Marijuana laws in Colorado "Rocky Mountain High" took on a whole new depth - or height- of meaning

    1. Yes Kelvin. Another coincidence, as I wrote and post-dated this post long before I knew where you were going.
