My Home, My Beach

Who would have ever thought I could be able to truthfully say 'I have my own beach'!  Not me, that's for sure.  Wow.  It really is fantastic here on Blogland.  It's everything I could imagine, and more.

I have been relaxing, recovering from my ordeal, sleeping a lot, eating, and now am ready to begin painting again.

Some images to give you a little idea of what it's like.

  1. Who could not fall in love with your Blogland home?

I too have just returned to Blogland after over a week journeying when my blogland was populated by pre-written scheduled posts just to fool people into believing that I was there in person. This comment is the evidence of my existence because I couldn't have written the comment without knowing that the post existed.

  2. Took me two reads to get that :-)

I'm glad you arrived back to your island home safely.

Yes. It has been interesting that the last month or so of posts from this blog of mine truly have reflected a very intriguing experience. I have proven, to myself at least, that we are where we imagine to be.
I expect that frequently a novelist who writes a work of fiction is transported to that world, and it becomes very similar to a real-life experience for him or her. Especially if it takes years. No wonder some authors say that the characters began to take on a lives of their own and do things that even the author didn't expect.

  3. Now you're getting settled in to Aotearoa Villa, may I invite you over to Yorkshire Pudding's Place for cocktails and a few games of ping pong? If you play your cards right I might even volunteer to do some life modelling for you.

  4. Sounds super Pud. I have a godwit outfit. If you model in that it would be very helpful.
