Beauty in Unexpected Places

The last of the Christmas lilies. I wish I could describe the heady, sweet, moonlit perfume well enough so you could share it too.

  1. Beauty to be sure....only flowers I am enjoying these days are indoors. 4th day in a row of snow.

This beautiful flower does my eyes good this morning!

  3. Lovely - but if you don't mind me saying - finding beauty in a garden is hardly "unexpected". It's like not expecting to find fish in an aquarium.

  4. That could be true YP... but you haven't seen my garden.

  5. Oh in spite of my MIL -least said the better- I love these Lillies. The odd thing is, they grow wild at the side of the roads about here, & they go unloved & unappreciated. Well, I appreciate them, but we do not stop to smell the wonderful aroma, as we sweep past on our way to 'somewhere'.
